Druidstone Road
Situated at the 'Castleton end' of this Road is Druidstone House. Located in the grounds is a 'druidic' stone (I think) from which the house/road obviously derives its name.

Hastings Crescent, Beech Tree Park.
This road was named after Miss Nellie Hastings. She lived in Roath but rented all the land (for arable farming) surrounding the William Nichol home. Miss Hastings also owned the land now occupied by Hyder and Ty-to-Maen. She was born in 1894 and died in 1976.
Miss Hastings Nephew David Kimber and his wife Pauline, of 'Trelawney ' Wern Fawr Lane, submitted the name to the developers/town planners.
