We have just looked into setting up a community webcam.. at this stage it's very basic and set up very simply.
This is how it works
A webcam connected to a computer, takes a photo every so often (about 30-60 seconds) and when connected to the internet itwill upload the webcam picture to the server..
Note: The cam only updates when online.
